Uefa has updated the list categorising Uefa officials into five categories, Elite, Premier and Premier Development, and through category 2 to category 4. It is Uefa’s way of differentiating between their many officials and they update it every summer and New Year.
In the top category Elite, four referees has retired or moved off the list. Svein Oddvar Moen (Norway), Aleksei Nikolaev (Russia) and Carlos Velasco Carballo (Spain) has been promoted onto the Elite category.
