Now, it has been confirmed by Ex-Swiss-Referee Urs Meier, that Massimo Busacca will be sent home. He won’t officiate any other match. I must say I’m very surprised. His performance in South Africa – Uruguay was good. I can’t understand that FIFA appoints referees like Undiano and Al-Ghamdi for 5 matches, and Massimo as a world-class referee gets one and has to go home. Very poor by FIFA. What do you think about it?

I am not sure why you are saying that Busacca had a good game? That offside had huge implications: a red card and a penalty kick for Uruguay, at 1-0, instead of an indirect free kick for South Africa. What do you need more than that in order to believe that he was penalized for a valid reason?
