Baldassi and Larrionda with 2nd match

by Martin Rødvand on June 18, 2010

Argentinian referee Hector Baldassi and Uruguayian referee Jorge Larrionda has been appointed to their second match of the tournament today. Baldassi will be in charge of Netherlands – Japan, with Larrionda on Cameroon – Denmark. Both matches are being played Saturday.

Larrionda was earlier this week referee for Ivory Coast vs. Portugal, a match where he was criticised for brandishing Ronaldo a yellow card. Hector Baldassi did Serbia – Ghana where he sent off one player, and gave the tournament’s first penalty.
